First I applied Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in "Sippin N Dippin" all over my lid using my finger.
Then I took MAC's "Melon" Pigment and applied it over the cream shadow using a flat shader brush.
Next I used a crease brush to apply a Bare Minerals Shadow in "Sex Kitten".
Finally I applied a Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay Liner in "Bronze" and used ELF's Clear Mascara.
Hope you enjoyed :)

Essie Nail Polish
Today I'm super busy, but I wanted to post something! So I thought I'd do a quick little post with pictures and names of my Essie polishes.
L-R: Imported Champagne ; Below The Belt ; Shifting Power
(Two colors not pictured - Marshmallow ; Waltz. Both are off-white colors that look great layered together. I use one coat of Marshmallow, then two coats of Waltz over that.)

L-R: Bright Tights ; Knockout Pout ; Watermelon ; Wrapped In Rubies
(Bright Tights is hard to photograph and is SUPER sheer. Knockout Pout is a hard color to work with. It tends to get streaky. I've done a successful manicure with it one out of 4 times. Wrapped In Rubies is what I had on in the video in my previous post.)
L-R: Trophy Wife ; Aruba Blue ; Midnight Cami ; Over The Top ; Smokin' Hot
(Midnight Cami, I would say, is a good dupe for OPI's Yoga-Ta Get This Blue. Midnight Cami doesn't have as much turquoise undertones.)

Surf n Turf - and a short video :)
I thought I'd name this look Surf n Turf - the cream and blue represent the beach, and the purples and pinks represent flowers. I meant to put brown in the crease to represent soil to go along with the flowers but I forgot! :/ Soo yeah, here goes:
I first applied Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in "Tattle Tale" to the inner half of my lid. Then applied NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in "Lavender" (I depotted it..or is it potting since I took it out of the pencil and put it into a jar?) to the outer half of my lid. I used my ring finger for this.
Next I used a small angled eyeliner brush to apply Bare Minerals' Eyeshadow in "Azure" to the inner half of my lash-line, then applied NYX Chrome Eyeshadow in "Violet" to the outer half of my lash-line.
Finally I applied NYX Single Eyeshadow in "Spring Flower" to the outer half of my lid, covering the NYX Jumbo Pencil.

Yesterday, Sunday, I went out to the farm I volunteer at - and where I keep my horse - and thought I'd share this video of my new baby! I just bought her about 3 weeks ago, saw her for a day, then left to go back to Miami for a couple weeks, so yesterday was the first time I'd seen her since I bought her! I can't decide on a name. She was initially named Princess by her first owner, but we've already got a Princess at the farm. I like the name Sassafras, Sassy for short, but I'm just not sure! And forgive my camera for the clicking. It does that when it focuses - which is SUPER annoying!

My OPI Polishes
I spent the summer in Miami and only took about 4 nail polishes - which was very stupid of me lol. Now I want to paint my nails every color!! But after getting home and looking through all of my polishes, I have come to the conclusion that I have too many! I am never going to use all of these before they go bad!! I do have a problem though, I admit, I LOVE buying nail polishes! Anywhos today I thought I'd post my OPI colors.
L-R : Here's To Us ; Moon Over Mumbai ; Birthday Babe ; Silver Shatter
L-R: Italian Love Affair ; Aphrodite's Pink Nightie ; Shorts Story ; Charged Up Cherry ; Red Shatter
L-R: The One That Got Away ; Louvre Me Louvre Me Not ; A Grape Fit! (Flash caused 2nd picture to come out too light)
L-R: Ogre The Top Blue ; Russian Navy Suede ; Yoga-ta Get This Blue ; Black Onyx
L-R: Gargantuan Green Grape ; Simply Smash-ing ; Sparkleicious
*Sorry for these two pictures - the flash kept washing out the Grape color and it wouldn't focus whatsoever on my nails!

Smokey Neutral
A smokey neutral look for going out at night - or daytime if that's your thing :)
First off I primed my eyes with NYX Concealer in a Jar in "Beige". Then I took my Urban Decay Naked Palette and put the color "DarkHorse"all over my lid and into the crease with a flat shader brush.
Next I took "Smog" and placed that over the DarkHorse color with a flat shader brush.
Next I took "Sidecar" and placed that over the first two colors with a flat shader brush.
Then I took "Creep" and put that in the outer corner with a crease brush and blended that out. I also used "Virgin" as a highlight and "Sin" in the inner corner.
And I applied my Tarte Cosmetics Black Amazonian Clay Eyeliner and a coat of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.
Hope you enjoyed :)

Mini Haul
Here is a mini haul. I was in the mood to buy some makeup so I bought a couple things - an eyeshadow quad and trio, and a mascara.
First up is the CoverGirl "Drama Eyes" quad. I LOVE this quad and it's super cheap! The colors are pigmented and it's great to use during the day and easy to darken up at night.
Next is the NYX "Ceramic" trio. This one I got from Ulta, but you can get it from cherryculture.com for $5.50 (I got it at Ulta for $8 which I shouldn't have done!). These colors are also super pigmented and great for a night out.
Last is Benefit's "They're Real" mascara. This is my new favorite mascara! It makes my lashes bold, lengthens them, and doesn't flake. What this mascara has that others doesn't is little bristles on the tip of the brush. It's good for getting mascara up into the base of your lashes, giving them an extra boost. It is a little pricey - $22 - but I do think it's worth it.

Penny For Your Thoughts
This blog is where I will post makeup tutorials, hauls and maybe sometimes upload some pictures of my life.
First I applied my everyday face makeup which consists of MAC's Studio Finish Concealer in "NW25", Bare Minerals Foundation in "Medium", NARS Bronzer in "Laguna", and a NYX Concealer in a Jar in "Beige" as a Eye Primer.
Next I put MAC's Fluidline in "RichGround"all over my lid and into the crease using a synthetic bristle brush - blending out the edges.

Then I used MAC's Fix+ to wet a synthetic bristle brush and picked up some Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Eye Dust in "Penny Arcade" and applied all over the lid. Afterwards, I brushed some of the dark brown eyeshadow from the ELF Butternut quad into my crease.
Lastly I used L'Oreal's Felt Tip Liquid Liner and L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara.
Hope you enjoyed :)
